Accessing the Surface Management Portal
Yes, organizations that are Intune customers are encouraged to start using the Surface Management Portal right away.
Requirements for SMP Access
To access the Surface Management Portal, customers need to have a tenant, at least one Intune E3 or E5 subscription, and at least one Surface device registered with Intune. Additional access and role requirements may apply.
Using the Surface Support Portal
If you don't have an Intune subscription, you can start a free trial or select a subscription plan that suits your organization's needs. For those not planning to subscribe to Intune, it's recommended to use the Surface Support Portal for support services.
